VISSTUN RECOGNIZED FOR EXCELLENCE IN PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (February 17, 2012) — Visstun® was recognized at the 2012 Image Awards Competition, sponsored by the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), with six awards across a variety of categories.
Visstun received awards for Customized Non-Catalog Product Under $25 (Gold level), Supplier Achievement — Offset Process (Silver level), Most Creative New Entry for Promotional Product Use (Silver level), Special Application (Silver level, won two) and Printed Supplier Catalogs, 1 — 25 pages (Silver level).
"Drink cups are not usually selected for these types of awards; so Visstun’s recognition in these categories is a great achievement," said Robin Fink, sales director. "We are especially pleased to have been awarded for the creativity of our product and the quality of our print processes, since we take such pride in providing high-quality products and service to our customers."
Winners of PPAI Image Awards are recognized for creative, insightful and effective branding activities promoting their company’s identity, products or services to their customers and prospects. Winners are selected by a panel of industry professionals and independent, outside marketing and advertising professionals.
Founded in 2006, Visstun launched the world’s first high-definition convolute cups. This unique, state-of-the-art technology eclipses traditional cup imprinting methods by first printing high-quality corporate images on flat polypropylene sheets and then forming them into cups on custom-engineered machinery.
The result is a line of visually stunning plastic and paper cups that has been honored 22 times, including the 2012 Gold PPAI Supplier Achievement in Customized Non-Catalog Product Under $25, 2012 & 2011 Silver PPAI Supplier Achievement in Offset Process and 2011 & 2010 Counselor Best Places to Work.
Visstun, along with its sister companies DIGISPEC®, CounterPoint® and AwesomeEye®, is part of the Time’s Up family of companies founded by Ed Hamilton. While each division operates independently, all four are headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.
